Gone Are the Days When We Thought It Was Only Our Daughters Being Molested” — Police Officer
A police officer has raised concern over the abuse of boys, recounting an alleged case involving a 10-year-old boy who was reportedly lured into a sexual relationship by a man at whose barbing salon he had gone to learn the trade.
The officer urged parents and society to pay greater attention to boys, warning that children of all genders can be victims of sexual exploitation and abuse.
In her words, she said;
“Gone are the days when we thought it was only our daughters who were being molested. Our sons are victims too. Our generation needs help; we may not have anyone to call our own, if we keep mute.”
