Missile Strike: Iran’s President Apologizes to Neighboring Countries
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has apologized to neighboring countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Kuwait, for the country’s recent missile strikes.
In a televised address, Pezeshkian stated that Iran’s interim leadership council has decided to refrain from launching attacks on neighboring countries unless they are attacked first.
Pezeshkian’s apology comes amid escalating regional tensions following US-Israeli strikes on Iran, which triggered Iranian missile and drone attacks across the Gulf.
He emphasized that Iran has no intention of invading other countries and is willing to resolve differences through diplomacy.
The Iranian president’s statement is seen as a de-escalation move, aiming to prevent further conflict in the region.
Pezeshkian also urged Gulf states to negotiate differences directly rather than getting involved in US-Israel conflicts.
