Lawyer Advises Nigerians on Rights During Police Arrests and Interrogations
A Nigerian lawyer has advised citizens on how to handle situations involving arrest or invitations from security agencies, stressing the importance of legal representation at all stages.
The lawyer urged individuals to ensure they are accompanied by counsel when interacting with law enforcement and during the making of any official statements.

“If you are arrested or invited by the Nigeria Police Force or any other security operatives, always go with your lawyer. Secondly, if you want to make a statement, make sure your lawyer is beside you. If peradventure the security operatives pressure you to make a statement, try and notify your lawyer when you get to court
