Apostle Johnson Suleman Urges Tinubu to Tackle Insecurity, Says “Go After Sponsors or Resign”
Senior cleric, Johnson Suleman, has again weighed in on Nigeria’s worsening security situation, calling on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take decisive and immediate action.
Speaking on the state of the nation, Suleman expressed confidence in Nigeria’s security agencies, stating that the Nigerian Army, Police, and the Department of State Services (DSS) are among the best globally. However, he argued that the real issue lies with individuals allegedly sponsoring terrorism and banditry.
He said
“I have travelled to several countries, and I can boldly tell you that the Nigerian Army, the Police, and the DSS are among the best in the world. The people who sponsor terr0r!sm are our real problem. The DSS is working seriously and picking up many suspects daily.
As a president, if you keep saying you inherited insecurity, you are openly admitting that you can not handle it. So, if you are serious about the security of this country, you should ban open grazing and encourage ranching. Cattle business is a private business. Go after the sponsors, stop holding meetings, and go after the band!ts. Finally, if you can not do all these, resign and let someone else do it.”
