Tension as foreign shop owner clashes with Operation Dudula members over workers’ fate in South Africa
A heated confrontation reportedly erupted between a foreign shop owner and members of the anti-immigration group Operation Dudula over employment of local workers in South Africa.
Foreign owner said
I have trained over 30 South Africans workers employed in this shop, I pay my taxes and I am not here illegally. If I close this shop and leave this country, what will be the fate of these workers?
South African member replied
“We don’t about the workers, it’s not your business what becomes of them when you leave. You are like a criminal here.
