Extortion Makes You a Thief — CP Sanusi Warns Abuja Police Officers”
The Commissioner of Police in the Federal Capital Territory, Ahmed Muhammed Sanusi, has issued a stern warning to officers against extorting commercial drivers and motorists in Abuja.
Addressing personnel, the police chief made it clear that any officer found engaging in such practices would be regarded as a criminal.
“We don’t want to hear any reports of extorting keke riders or motorists in Abuja. If we hear it, you are a thief. You cannot be both a police officer and a thief,” he said.
