Troops Repel ISWAP Attack, Rescue Kidnap Victims, Arrest Terror Suppliers in North-East
Nigerian troops have successfully repelled an attack by suspected ISWAP insurgents in the North-East, in an operation that also led to the rescue of kidnapped victims and the arrest of individuals linked to supplying the terrorist group.
According to security sources, the attempted assault was thwarted after a fierce exchange, forcing the insurgents to retreat under heavy pressure from the military.
