Geh Geh Slams the Grammy Awards Over Davido’s Defeat
Controversial Nigerian content creator Geh Geh has criticised the Grammy Awards, claiming that the organisation has shown “disrespect” toward Afrobeats superstar Davido following his loss at the 68th Grammy Awards.
He said
“In 2026, you allow Grammy dey rubbish you. Them don rubbish you, you no get value again. I remember when I made a video to advice Davido make e no dey submit him songs to Grammy. These people are using you to promote their award in Nigeria and Africa. But him just dey shout say ‘I want to win Grammy’ go and win Grammy na. Wizkid go dey happy now. This life wey we dey live eh, know where you stand for people life. You fit dey think say you be something for person life, make that person no rate you at all. Na that thing na him Grammy dey do Davido. Grammy know say dey can never give Davido that award but because them still need am to promote and market their award for Nigeria and Africa, na the only reason dey dey nominate Davido”
