CUBANA CHIEF PRIEST DECLARES TO CONTEST 2027 UNDER APC TO SUPPORT KANU
Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has announced plans to contest for a seat in the House of Representatives in the 2027 elections under the APC. He said his decision to remain in the ruling party is driven by a desire to use federal influence to push for the release of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, arguing that opposition politics limits real impact. While acknowledging his support for Peter Obi and the Labour Party in 2023, he clarified that he has now fully aligned with President Bola Tinubu and the APC. He described his ambition as a shift from social media influence to active governance, aimed at giving the South-East stronger representation within the political system.
