“When I was in lab0ur and wanted to give birth, the midwife asked me to climb on top the delivery bed. I begged her to let me li£ on the floor and give birth because I found it difficult to use the delivery bed.
During my first pregnancy, I used the bed and it was very uncomfortable and difficult for me to push out my baby. In my second pregnancy, I lay on the floor and it was very easy and comfortable for me to deliver my baby. So, I begged the midwife to allow me to stay on the floor and give birth, but she refused.
Climbing on top of that bed when labour is int£ns£ is very diffic¥lt, and even lying down while giving birth is not easy at all. I wish they would ask pregnant women the position they prefer to give birth. Squatting is the best for me abeg.
Imagine laying down to push a whole human being, but at the end of the day, God made it easy for me.
To every pregnant woman, God will make it easier for you on your delivery day amen…”
