My mother and I always argu£d about my 14 year old sister having a boyfriend. I would say, “Naa, that girl isn’t like that she’s too young for a boyfriend,” and I just didn’t believe it. But recently, my mother started suspecting her because she seemed to be in the bathroom almost every second. I told her to forget it; it wasn’t what she was thinking.
This afternoon, my sister came home from school and didn’t go straight to her room. Our mother sent her somewhere, so she put her bag down. Her phone started ringing nonstop, so I decided to check whose it was. When I opened the bag, I couldn’t believe my eyes.
It was one of those things adults use… the kind you’re definitely not supposed to see at fourteen. I froze for a few seconds and quickly shoved it back in the bag. I didn’t know whether to laugh, scream, pretend I had never seen it, or tell our mom.
