SECURITY CONCERNS RAISED AMID POLITICAL DISTRACTIONS IN ANGWAN RUKUBA
A Nigerian citizen has expressed deep concern over what he described as misplaced priorities among political leaders amid ongoing security threats.
Addressing the Minister of Defence, he criticized the minister for wearing an APC cap while campaigning, saying
I’ve never witnessed anything like that before.” He also referenced remarks reportedly made by the Chief of Army Staff that b@nd!ts and B0k0 Boys are Nigerians, pointing out that these groups continue to attack and kill innocent citizens daily.
The citizen warned that instead of focusing on protection, government officials appear preoccupied with amnesty and political campaigns.
“As we speak, the President is expected to be here, but attention is already on 2027 campaigns,” he said.
He urged residents of Angwan Rukuba to take personal measures for their safety, acknowledging that some might interpret this as encouraging violence: “Do whatever you can to stay safe.”
