Dino Melaye alleges forced evacuation at ADC convention venue
A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dino Melaye, has narrated the circumstances surrounding the reported evacuation of party members from their convention venue.
Melaye claimed that despite fulfilling all contractual obligations, including full payment and agreement with the venue management, the party was subjected to unfavorable conditions and later asked to vacate the premises.
He said:
“They didn’t put on light or AC for us, we brought gen but the AC’s are not working. We signed contract and agreement, we paid all the money we suppose to pay… around 11pm yesterday they told us that there’s an evacuation order from the office of the minister for us to leave this convention premises.”
He further questioned the motive behind the situation, adding:
“Why’s Tinubu afraid of ADC?”
