Daniel Regha Reacts to Reported Release of Over 700 “De-Radicalized” Individuals
Public commentator Daniel Regha has reacted to reports surrounding the release of over 700 individuals described as “de-radicalized,” questioning what he sees as inconsistencies in Nigeria’s justice system.
In a widely circulated post, he compared the development with other high-profile cases, including the continued detention of separatist leader Nnamdi Kanu, activist Sunday Igboho’s past legal troubles, and EndSARS protesters who he claims have remained in detention for years.
He said
So Nnamdi Kanu committed a bigger crime than the 700 terrorists who got pardoned? So Sunday Igboho back in the day did more harm than the 700 terrorists that got freed? So the EndSARS protesters who are reportedly still languishing in detention for over 5 yrs now have done worse?
This is not one person being released, but over SEVEN HUNDRED with the excuse of being de-radicalized, like that undoes all their atrocities. It’s sickening.
