According to her, the decision was influenced by long-standing insecurities and negative comments from others about her body. She explained that comparisons with peers who had flatter stomachs contributed to how she felt about herself at the time.

It’s not easy to do surgery. I haven’t had peace since I did it. I can’t breathe very well. I did it because of my belly and insecurities from insults. Seeing my mates with flat tummies affected me.”
