“Nigeria cannot keep borrowing its way to development” — Oyedele warns
Nigeria’s Minister of Finance, Taiwo Oyedele, has cautioned that the country cannot continue financing development mainly through borrowing.
He said Nigeria must instead build a stronger fiscal system capable of sustainably supporting key sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, security, and social protection.
