Kidnappers Have Sponsors, DSS Can Track Anyone” — Pastor Ibiyeomie Speaks on Insecurity and Elections
Founder of Salvation Ministries, David Ibiyeomie, has commented on Nigeria’s insecurity situation, stating that kidnappers are not acting alone and suggesting they have backing from sponsors.
He also referenced the capabilities of the Department of State Services (DSS), saying security agencies have the capacity to track and arrest criminals anywhere in the country.
On the issue of elections, he noted that although he had previously expressed frustration about voting, he affirmed his decision to participate in future elections as a civic right.
“I want to appeal to INEC and the judiciary not to disappoint Nigerians, because they have disappointed us before, including under a former INEC chairman,” he said.
