Woman Criticizes Remi Tinubu Over “Akara Business” Advice
A Nigerian woman has publicly criticized Remi Tinubu, describing her advice encouraging citizens to explore small-scale businesses like frying akara as insensitive.
The critic argued that many Nigerians are leaving the country in search of better opportunities due to economic hardship, and that such recommendations fail to address deeper structural issues.
She said
“Nigeria has the highest number of immigrants in many other countries because of a lack of opportunities in Nigeria. Rather than create opportunities, you’re advising Nigerians to start frying Akara. You’re insensitive.”
