“I Make ₦750k Monthly Selling Roasted Corn” — Ibadan Businesswoman
An Ibadan-based businesswoman has shared her inspiring journey of resilience and hard work, revealing how she built a stable source of income through roasted corn sales.
“Hairdressing is my hard-earned work; it’s my early dream job, and I completed my training,” she said. “I started roasting corn when my hairdressing business was not moving. All my children are in school, with two of them in higher institutions.”
She further explained how the business sustains her family and supports her children’s education.
“With God’s mercy, on a daily basis, if I borrow money and get about ₦20,000 to buy corn, I earn between ₦25,000 and ₦27,000 daily. From the earnings, I contribute and that’s what I use to support my children’s schooling,” she added.
