Addressing concerns often raised about public officials and foreign assets, Obi emphasized that he had no reason to invest in property in the United States during his tenure.
“As a serving Governor, I never owned any house in the US because I wasn’t even living there. Why would I buy a house in America with the people’s money?”he said
