Ebuka Obi-Uchendu Raises Alarm Over Rising Hunger, Aggressive Street Begging in Lagos
Media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has expressed concern over the worsening economic hardship in Nigeria, warning of a growing wave of aggressive street begging in parts of Lagos.
Speaking on the situation, he said:
“There’s serious hunger in Nigeria. We have an army of beggars rising in Lekki, Ikeja, VI… they’re not even begging you anymore, they bash someone’s windscreen the other day. Because in their mind, how dare you drive G-Wagon, or even Prado.”
