Rufai Oseni Reacts to Claims That Federal Might Was Not Used in Osun Election
Arise TV presenter Rufai Oseni has dismissed claims by Nyesom Wike and Clement that federal might was not deployed during the Osun State governorship election.
Oseni argued that the claims were an attempt to create a narrative that the election could not have been lost, rather than acknowledging the reported failure of the federal government’s influence.
In his words, he said:
They are denying the fact that the federal might failed. So, they are using a narrative to gaslight people that, ‘Ah, there’s no way we could have lost. It’s the federal might. We didn’t use the federal might.’
“They can’t swallow the fact that, with the over ₦110 billion, as alleged by Davido, all the efforts to bring down his tweets, and all the influence he exerted, they still failed.”
