“I Have Never Been a Fan of Wizkid’s Music; His Sound Does Not Appeal to Me” — Oge Elumelu Allegedly Says
Tony Elumelu’s daughter, Oge Elumelu, allegedly addressed fans during an Instagram Live, where she reportedly spoke about her music preferences and her upcoming birthday celebration.
According to the claim, when asked if she would invite Wizkid to perform at her birthday, she allegedly replied:
In her words, Oge Elumelu said:
No. I have never been a fan of Wizkid’s music. His sound does not appeal to me. I can’t even listen to his songs for 30 seconds.
“I will be celebrating my birthday tomorrow. I had the privilege of meeting Davido a few years ago. When my dad allegedly asked me what I wanted for my birthday, I requested that Davido perform at our home. That experience was far more meaningful to me than going out to celebrate it. I was so excited, and he was compensated a substantial amount.
“I have always admired Davido’s artistry and have supported his music for many years. Davido, Burna Boy, and Ayra Starr are scheduled to perform at my birthday. I connect deeply with their sound, and I listen to their music daily. To be honest, no one in our household listens to Wizkid’s music.”
