Zubby Michael Breaks Silence Over Alleged Assault of Actress Pamela Okoye on Set
Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has spoken out following an alleged physical altercation between a Nollywood producer and actress Pamela Okoye on a movie set.
In a statement circulating online, Zubby condemned the alleged assault and said producers should not overstep their boundaries. He also claimed that Pamela is a close friend who contacted him in tears after the incident and that she is currently receiving medical treatment in hospital.
In his words, he said:
“This has gone too far. These producers are overstepping their bounds, and I refuse to remain silent. How does he think he can beat her and expect no one to intervene? I have seen the video. Pamela Okoye is a dear friend of mine. We share a very close bond.”
Zubby further said he was disappointed by those who allegedly witnessed the incident without intervening, describing the producer’s actions as cowardly and calling for him to be held accountable.
Why direct such aggression toward a woman? Why not use the same energy against your fellow male? She is currently receiving medical treatment in the hospital.”he said
