“The Argument Over Fuel Subsidy Removal Is Now Belated; We Need To See The Benefits” — PENGASSAN President
The National President of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN), Bosun Olabiyi-Agoro, has said the debate over whether Nigeria should remove the fuel subsidy is now a thing of the past.
According to him, the subsidy has already been removed, and the focus should now shift to ensuring that Nigerians begin to experience tangible benefits from the policy in their daily lives.
He said:
“The argument over whether to remove the fuel subsidy or not is now belated. It has been done, but we need to start seeing the benefits of that removal in the lives of everyday Nigerians.”
