
Tinubu Celebrates Boss Mustapha at 70, Calls for Greater Commitment to Public Service
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has celebrated former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, on the occasion of his 70th birthday, describing the milestone as a time for thanksgiving and reflection.
Speaking at the celebration, Tinubu said the gathering was not only about marking seven decades of Mustapha’s life but also about appreciating God’s faithfulness in preserving and sustaining him through different seasons.
He said:
“Today is first and foremost a day for thanksgiving. We gathered not only to celebrate a passage of seven decades, but to celebrate the faithfulness of God, who has preserved and sustained Boss Mustapha through the various seasons of life.”
The President also stressed the importance of integrity and selfless leadership, saying Nigeria needs citizens committed to serving the country beyond personal interests.
“Nigeria needs men and women who value what transcends personal interest, but rather a devotion to public service.”
