YPP Presidential Candidate Peter Agada Claims He Wrote Policies Later Used by Politicians
The Young Progressives Party (YPP) presidential candidate, Peter Agada, has claimed that some politicians currently seeking elective offices took policy documents and ideas from his team without giving them credit.
Agada said he has been involved in policy development in Nigeria for decades and described himself as a veteran in the field.
He also claimed that he personally wrote policies for Peter Obi, including the “consumption-to-production infrastructure” policy, which he said was developed by his team under Professor Pat Utomi.
He said:
“There are things I’m struggling not to say here. A lot of these guys who are running for offices took documents off my table. Their manifestos, their programmes. I’m not junior to anybody. I started writing policies in Nigeria before some people even entered politics.”
“Of course, I wrote policies for Peter Obi. The consumption-to-production infrastructure was written by me and my team under Professor Pat Utomi. It was from my table.”
