A Seyi Tinubu associate, Faruk Lawal, has criticised Labour Party 2023 presidential candidate Peter Obi over the recent incident in Benue State.
Lawal said Obi’s political activities, including visiting Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps, should not be mistaken for the actual work required to win elections.
“Peter Obi deserves what happened to him in Benue State. Politics is not by mouth or visiting IDP camps. Politics is being done in polling units,” Lawal said.
