“No Nigerian Politician Is as Courageous as Peter Obi” — Aisha Yesufu Vows to Defend Votes in 2027
Aisha Yesufu has praised Peter Obi, describing him as one of the most courageous politicians in Nigeria, while vowing to defend the integrity of votes during the 2027 general elections.
Yesufu said she would be present at polling units and on the streets to ensure that voters’ choices are protected from electoral violence or intimidation.
“There is no politician in Nigeria that is as courageous as Mr Peter Gregory Obi. I will be at the street at every polling unit. If you come to take away our vote using violence, there’s something called self-defence,” she said.
