President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has ordered a full investigation into the deaths of 37 suspected illegal miners who reportedly died while in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The President stressed that being suspected of illegal mining does not strip anyone of their fundamental right to life.
“The fact that they were suspected of illegal mining does not remove their right to life.”he said
