Umahi: FG to Deploy 4,000 Social Media Influencers to Highlight Tinubu Administration’s Achievements
The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has said the Federal Government plans to engage 4,000 social media influencers to promote and communicate the achievements of the President Bola Tinubu administration.
Umahi said the move was necessary to counter what he described as a “social media war” and ensure that Nigerians are informed about the government’s activities and projects.
“We have to fight this social media war. So, we have to launch 4,000 social media influencers to tell our stories,” Umahi said.
The minister said he was proud of the administration’s infrastructure projects and what he described as gains recorded across various sectors of the economy.
“You know I am proud of what the President is doing in infrastructure. I’m proud of all the gains we have made in various sectors of the economy, so we have to tell our stories.
“If you don’t say ‘I am’, nobody will tell you who you are,” Umahi added.
