Court remands ‘fake PFIPC’s DG’ Adeniyi in Kuje prison over alleged forgery

A Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered that the alleged fake Director General of the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC), Prince Adeniyi Adeyemi Matthew (38), be remanded in Kuje prison.

Justice Mohammed Umar, in a ruling on Wednesday, ordered that Adeniyi remain in prison pending the hearing and determination of his bail application.

The judge’s order came shortly after Adeniyi pleaded not guilty to an eight-count charge of conspiracy and forgery brought against him and two others, Femi (surname unknown) and Anu (surname unknown), who are now at large.
