“Touch not my anointed” applies when someone is falsely accusing you” — Nollywood actress Mary Njoku tells pastors
Nollywood actress Mary Njoku has urged pastors to take responsibility when their words or actions attract criticism.
In a post, she said the biblical phrase “Touch not my anointed” should not be used to silence people who accurately recount what a pastor has said or done publicly.
She advised pastors to own their words and actions, apologise when necessary and provide context where needed.
“‘Touch not my anointed’ applies when someone is falsely accusing you, lying against you, or deliberately trying to harm you,” she wrote.
Njoku added that pastors are human and, like everyone else, are not above making mistakes or being held accountable.
