US president Donald Trump shares chilling videos of convicted ‘killers, drug dealers and thugs‘ being sent to El Salvador’s notorious maximum-security prison
The Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT) is a maximum-security prison in Tecoluca, El Salvador.
The mega prison can hold up to 40,000 inmates. Each cell can fit 65 to 70 prisoners.
In the caption accompanying the video, Trump wrote: “THIS IS WHERE WE SEND OUR KILLERS, DRUG DEALERS & THUGS.
“THIS IS WHY MURDER AND OTHER CRIMES IN AMERICA ARE AT RECORD LOWS.”
