Dino Melaye Speaks at Protest, Warns Against One-Party System
Dino Melaye on Monday joined protesters, speaking out against what he described as a drift toward a one-party system and poor governance in Nigeria.
Addressing the crowd, he urged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to maintain neutrality in its operations, stressing that the country belongs to all citizens and must not be controlled by a single group or family.
He said
“We are here today to protest against a one-party system and injustice in bad administration. INEC must not compromise its neutrality. Nigeria belongs to all of us, and we will not allow it to be taken over by one family.
Just a few days ago, a Nigerian Army general was killed by terrorists, and we know the number of security operatives that have been killed by bandits. The ADC will be holding its national convention tomorrow.”
