United States Navy Opens Fire on Iranian-Flagged Vessel After 6-Hour Standoff, Marines Board Ship
The Pentagon has released dramatic footage showing the United States Navy opening fire on an Iranian-flagged cargo vessel after it allegedly ignored repeated warnings for over six hours.
According to the footage, U.S. forces issued urgent commands to the ship identified as “Motor Vessel TOUSKA,” instructing the crew to vacate the engine room or face imminent action.
The Navy words to the Iranian vessel
“Motor vessel TOUSKA! Motor vessel TOUSKA! Vacate your engine room… we’re prepared to subject you to disabling fire,” a U.S. officer can be heard saying.
After continued non-compliance, U.S. forces carried out what they described as “disabling fire” aimed at stopping the vessel.
Officials confirm that U.S. Marines have since boarded the ship, though details about casualties, cargo, or the ship’s mission remain unclear at this time
