“My Lawyers Will Be Writing to MTN” — VeryDarkMan Questions How His Private Line Was Used for Dangote Ad
Social media activist VeryDarkMan has threatened legal action against telecommunications company MTN after claiming that his private phone line was used in connection with an advertisement for Dangote without his consent.
VeryDarkMan questioned how the network provider allowed him to receive an advert from Dangote on his private line and demanded an explanation from MTN.
“MTN, my lawyers are going to be writing to you guys. As my network provider, I will need you to explain how my private line is being used by Dangote. Why am I getting an ad from Dangote? I didn’t consent to them using my private line to do an ad for Dangote. You need to explain or we’re going to court,” he said.
