Residents Raise Alarm Over Dangerous Pothole in Nembe, Call for Urgent Government Action
Residents of Nembe have raised serious concerns over a massive pothole in the middle of a major road, warning that it poses a significant risk to motorists and pedestrians.
According to a concerned resident, the size and depth of the hole have become extremely dangerous, noting that it is deep enough for a full-grown adult to stand inside comfortably.
Standing in the pothole, he said
“This pothole right in the middle of the road here in Nembe, Bayelsa State, will definitely cause a big acc!dènt if nothing is done about it.
Just look at the size of this hole. A whole human being like me can stand comfortably inside it. That shows how deep and dánger0us it has become.If any vehicle mistakenly enters this kind of hole, it will lead to a very serious accîdènt. The damage could be catastrophic for both the vehicle and the people inside.
We are using this opportunity to call on the Bayelsa State Government to please come and fix this road as soon as possible before something terrible happens.This situation is very dangerous for everyone using this road. Urgent action needs to be taken to prevent loss of lives and property.
