Outrage in Delta as Police Allegedly Kill 28-Year-Old Artist Over Waybill Mix-Up
A tragic incident in Delta State has sparked widespread outrage after a 28-year-old upcoming artist, Oghenemine, was allegedly shot dead by officers of the Nigeria Police Force.
What Happened
According to activist Harrison Gwamnishu, the victim had been sent by a friend to pick up a waybill.
However, upon being stopped by police officers, he was accused of carrying a package that allegedly contained a firearm.
A video circulating online reportedly shows Oghenemine:
• Pleading with officers
• Cooperating during questioning
• Explaining that he was sent to collect the parcel
Despite his claims, he was allegedly shot without a proper investigation into his explanation.
