Popular Nigerian singer, Davido, has weighed in on the ongoing conversation around insecurity in the country, responding to a statement made by Rarara.
Rarara had earlier urged Nigerians not to remain silent about the worsening insecurity situation, stressing that citizens should not discourage others from speaking openly. He also criticized individuals who prioritize political loyalty and personal interests over the collective good, urging Nigerians to be patriotic and fear God in their actions.
Damn it, every Nigerian should not stay silent about the insecurity plaguing the nation, nor should they prevent others from voicing their concerns openly. Showing bias and prioritizing personal or political interests, and putting personal desires above the community’s goals, is nothing to be proud of.
