Man Regrets Rejecting Overseas Study Opportunity Over Relationship
A Nigerian man has shared a personal story of regret after turning down an opportunity to study abroad because of a relationship.
He said:
“I missed an opportunity that would have transformed my life forever and till today, I am in total regret.
During my National diploma days, there was this girl I was dating I loved this girl so much and everything was going smoothly, not until an opportunity came for me to go study abroad.
I told my family about it and they were very happy for me and they gave me their support and blessing, when I told my babe about it, she didn’t take it with joy at all.
Fast forward to after our ND graduation, this girl did direct entry to Benin as against what we planned, she later called me one day and called off the relationship, claiming that long distance doesn’t work for her.”
