Goodluck Jonathan Urges Peter Obi to Focus on National Unity in Presidential Ambition
Former President Goodluck Jonathan has advised Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi to continue prioritising national unity in his political conduct and public engagements.
Jonathan reportedly noted that Obi’s speeches and actions so far have not promoted division among Nigerians, but encouraged him to work even harder toward fostering unity if eventually elected president.
He said
Your utterances and conduct so far have not shown any division among Nigerians. Work hard on uniting Nigerians if elected President.”
