Kemi Olunloyo Alleges Fraud Behind TikTok Gifts to Nigerian Streamers
Controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo has stirred major controversy after making serious allegations about the source of large gifts received by Nigerian livestreamers on TikTok.
In a lengthy statement, she claimed that while the virtual gifts—such as lions, coins, and other high-value items—are real, many of them are allegedly funded through fraudulent means, including stolen credit cards.
Her words
“There’s a phenomenon in Nigeria where when someone goes live on TikTok and they get gifts. Those gifts could be coins, animals, lions, money g*un. It’s these gifts that streamers depend on. If you’re someone that gets small small things like roses, they add up by the time you change it you get a significant amount of money there [Nigeria]; it’s not enough in dollars if you’re in dollar land.

So who are these guys giving them the big gifts? And why them? They got popular because of those big gifts too. These st0len credit cards are used to by various gifts on the TikTok stores.
