Senators Earn Over ₦30m Monthly While Workers Suffer — Sowore
Omoyele Sowore has decried the widening gap between Nigerian lawmakers and ordinary workers, stating that senators earn over ₦30 million monthly while many citizens struggle to survive.
Speaking on the economic hardship facing Nigerians, Sowore said that an average senator only attends work about ten times a month yet receives massive earnings, while workers who labor daily cannot afford basic necessities such as food, healthcare, and education for their childre

An average senator earns over ₦30 million monthly and only goes to work like 10 times in a month, but an average worker can’t afford to eat, can’t afford to buy medicine or send their children to school and they work every day,
The greatest work on our hands now is to drive away the enemies of workers who are occupying the position of power in this country.”
