The spiritual leader of Nigerian Muslims, Sultan of Sokoto, has dismissed claims suggesting any coordinated plan by Muslims to target Christians in the country.
Speaking on national unity and religious harmony, he stated that Muslims are not planning or pursuing any agenda to eliminate or decimate Christian populations in Nigeria, emphasizing coexistence between faith groups.
According to him
Muslims are not planning to eliminate Christians from Nigeria. Today, as I stand here, I want to affirm that Muslims are not in a hurry and are not planning anything like decimating the population of Christians in Nigeria.”
