Amaechi Takes Swipe at Atiku, Questions His Electoral Success
Former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi, has taken a jab at former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over his track record in presidential elections.
Amaechi reacted to claims that Atiku has never lost a party primary, expressing hope that such a streak could end in future contests. However, he stressed that the real issue goes beyond party primaries.
“When they say former VP Atiku said he has never failed the primaries before, I hope this will be the first time he fails the primaries. That is not the issue. The issue is every time he has passed the primaries, he has not won the election,” he said.
