Peter Obi Criticizes Government, Promises Lawful and Disciplined Leadership
Former Anambra State governor and presidential hopeful, Peter Obi, has criticized the current administration, describing it as incompetent while outlining his vision for governance.
In a recent statement, Obi pledged to restore civility, order, and strict adherence to the rule of law if elected President of Nigeria.
“Currently, we have an incompetent government. As President of Nigeria, I will bring civility and order to governance. I will govern according to the Constitution of Nigeria. I will govern within the law,” he said.
He also addressed the longstanding practice where Nigerian presidents oversee the petroleum ministry, stating that he would not follow that tradition.
“Every President wants to be the Minister of Petroleum. I will not,” Obi added.
