Jim Iyke Opens Up on Marriage Struggles, Says He Became a “Better Father but Worse Husband”
Jim Iyke has shared a deeply personal account of how a shift in his emotional state and priorities affected his marriage, ultimately leading to its end.
In a heartfelt reflection, the Nollywood actor revealed that he “lost his spark,” a change that significantly impacted his relationship with his wife. According to him, he redirected nearly all his love and attention toward his son, becoming fully immersed in fatherhood
According to him
“I lost my sp@rk, and my wife s&ffer£d for it. Then I became an obs£ss!ve dad. I gave everything in me, my love and attention to my son and left her behind. I was the changing diapers, the proper stay-at-home dad.
I became an excellent father but a w0£ful husband, and after a while, she said, ‘I can’t find the man I married anymore.’I told her, ‘I don’t know what it would take for me to h£al and bring myself back, but if she want to wait for me, I’d appreciate it. And if she can’t, I would also understand.’ She said she couldn’t, so we shook hands and parted as friends.
