Harrison Gwamnishu Rejects Claims Linking IPOB to Kidnapping Cases in Imo
Security operative and activist Harrison Gwamnishu has dismissed claims that members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) were responsible for a kidnapping case he intervened in Imo State.
Reacting to circulating narratives, Gwamnishu said he does not understand why people continue to push what he described as propaganda against IPOB in the South East. He explained that in the rescue operations he has participated in, he often works with Hausa and Fulani individuals to help communicate with the kidnappers during negotiations.
He said
“I don’t know where people are getting all this energy to push prøpagånda against IPOB in the South East. Any kidn@pping rescue operation I’ve been involved in, after posting the video, the next narrative that starts circulating is that IPOB members were responsible. Whereas, I always hire Hausa and Fulani people to help me communicate on the phone with those kidn@ppers. What do people gain from lying to the public
