I Lost Sleep Too Trying to Fix Nigeria’s Economy — President Tinubu
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has said he personally shared in the hardship Nigerians are experiencing, stressing that he has also endured sleepless nights while working to reform the country’s struggling economy.
Speaking on the state of the nation, Tinubu acknowledged the difficulties citizens are facing, noting that the economic system he inherited was in a severely damaged condition. According to him, the process of rebuilding and stabilizing the economy requires tough decisions and sacrifice from both leadership and the populace.
“I shared the pain with you. I know what it takes to reform this economy that was in tatters. If you lost sleep, I lost some too,” the president said.
